This trek 19 miles far from Kathmandu valley. If you are bore with busy road, noisy streets and populated Kathmandu just look around northern side of Kathmandu, there will see the lofty snow covered mountains of Ganesh Himal, and langtang ranges. This trek follow the langtang khola will take you to the settlement of khanjin Gumpa at 3900m. The langtang valley is a narrow valley but the beautiful valley situated along Nepal – Tibet, this area is an inhabited by Tamang and Tibetans, who share their similar religion, language and also the clothing sense too. This langtang trek is also popular because of its suitable for both nature lovers and adventures. It’s two attributes easy accessibility and breathtaking mountain scenery. It’s a trekking place where you can reach comfortably because it’s low elevations and it is easily approached from Dhunche, the main trading post of area. This takes a day from Kathmandu. As you know it’s an easy and enjoyable destinations where you can get right in among the Himalayan peaks and to get off-the-beaten-track, walking through some fascinatingly remote and relatively unpopulated areas.

Langtang is also known as the treasure house of alpine plants, langtang valley trekking offer splendid view of the Himalayas scenery including the Mt.langtang lirung, Naya kanga, Dorje lakpa,langsisa ri, yala peak. Here you also can see wild animals in langtang national park such as Leopard, Panda, Ghoral, Thoral, Mt.thar, Monkeys and many types of birds. This national park was established in 1976 and is Nepal’s second largest national park. This park is rich in flora and fauna. In spring time it is an ideal place to spot birds and flowers of Nepal. In this trek you can saw the rhododendron forest, grassy down and meadows stream.

Itinerary Day by day details

Day 01: Arrivals in Kathmandu receipt and transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu O/N Hotel KTM
Day 01: Drive to Shyaphru besi 1467m (6-8 hours) by Local bus O/N Lodge
Day 02: Trek to Lama hotel (2470m) (5-6 hours) O/N lodge
Day 03: Trek to Langtang village (3430m) 5-6 hours) O/N lodge
Day 04: Trek to Kyangin Gompa (3870m) 4-5 hours) O/N Lodge
Day 05: Excursion day Tserko Ri for view (4984m) Tsero ri is one of the best view point where from we can explore Langtang Himalayan range including Ganesh Himal,Lanang, and Shisapanga which is one of the above 8000m lies in Tibet.
Day 06: After breakfast trek back to Ghodatabela (2972m) 5-6 hours) O/N Lodge
Day 07: Trek back to Thulo shyaprhu (2250m) 5-6 hours) O/N Lodge
Day 08: Trek back to Dhunche (1960m) (4-5 hours) O/N Lodge
Day 09: Drive Back to KTM by Local bus.
Day 12: Free Day at Kathmandu O/N Hotel
Day 13: Transfer to Airport for final departure.
